Butlins Skegness , REDS & Centre Stage

As Britain’s favourite holiday resort, Butlins are constantly looking at guest safety and comfort. As a part of this, Jupiter were engaged to carefully strip out 2,000m2 of suspended ceilings to make way for the new sprinkler fire suppression systems in both REDS nightclub and Centre Stage entertainment venue

Existing ceiling tiles were collected by the manufacturer and taken away to be recycled, with the metal grid being taken away by a local certified metal scrap merchant

Fire Suppression Upgrade

As the new fire suppression system was being installed, we then followed through installing the new ceilings throughout the main venues and in the toilet areas, dressing rooms and entrance stairwells

Due to both venues being open to guests, all works were carried out at night, with set up commencing at 11pm and set down, full clean of the area by 9am the following morning. Working closely with the venue managers, we got our systems in place and formed an efficient nightly routine

Overall, a great project to be involved with. Our relationship with Orientrose Contracts and Butlins continues to grow
